Pyroglyphix圣火令

圣火令是一支活跃于中国苏州，融合了摇滚、电子、流行和嘻哈元素的乐队。

乐队最初由来自英国的童年伙伴MC Tom和吉他手 Duff组建，随着鼓手 Danny(英国)、贝司手 刘潇 (中国)、MC Mark(加拿大)和歌手 Samantha(美国)的加入，乐队增强了音乐的律动，以及电子元素和声乐结合的独特表现。几年来，疯狂的现场表演迅速赢得了他们在当地的 声誉。

在2014年3月乐队被City Weekend评为 “2014 最佳摇滚乐队”。

2014年夏天，乐队在上海72工作室，录制了他们的首张EP《Remedy》，并于2015年1月24日在 苏州WAVE LiveHouse 举行了EP首发派对。

乐队计划将于2015年春末录制Pyroglyphix完整专辑。

Pyroglyphix is a band based in Suzhou, China, whose music combines rock, electronic and hip-hop elements.

Founded several years ago by childhood friends MC Tom Batchelor and guitar player Blayne Duffy from Britain, the band's frenzied live shows quickly earned them a reputation on the local scene. With the addition of fellow Brit Danny Abbasi on drums and Chinese bass player Liu Xiao, Canadian MC Mark Woo and singer Samantha Lyall from Baltimore, US, the band took a more groove-oriented approach, with a greater emphasis on electronic elements and vocal hooks delivered by the inimitable Lyall.

In March 2014 the band were named 'Suzhou's Best Band' at the City Weekend Suzhou Reader's Choice Awards.

In Summer 2014 the band recorded its first 5-track EP, Remedy, with producer/engineer Ryan Baird at The 72 Studio, Shanghai. It was officially released in CD format at a sold-out party at Wave Livehouse, Suzhou on January 24th, 2015.

Pyroglyphix is playing dates around China during Spring 2015, with plans to record a debut album later in the year.
