一个由意大利鼓手Victor和苏州bass手刘潇组成的2人乐队 只有鼓和bass 没有人声 2014年诞生在苏州

乐队的创建动机来自 2011年－2013年间 刘潇对现有音乐的思考 并创作了大量探索性的作品

2014年初 刘潇从苏州去往成都 本意与48V乐队的鼓手阿勇来尝试合作 遗憾阿勇太忙 同时 由于当时刘潇另外一个乐队 Pyroglyphix圣火令乐队正处在高速发展期 故恋恋不舍地离开成都 回到苏州

非常庆幸的是 当刘潇跟老友意大利人Victor提出邀请加入乐队时 Victor没有丝毫犹豫地同意了 就此 一支探索性的乐队诞生了

Jazz Master is an instrumental duet formed in Suzhou in 2014 by Italian drummer Victor Vicari and Suzhounese bass player Liu Xiao(AKA Dick Liu). There are no vocals, just drums and bass.

The motivation for founding this band came from Liu Xiao’s thoughts on traditional music, which triggered him to make a large amount of unorthodox music work between 2011 and 2013.

At the beginning of 2014, Liu Xiao went to Chengdu, originally planning to cooperate with A Yong, a drummer from the band 48V. Unfortunately A Yong was too busy. Meanwhile Liu Xiao’s other band, Pyroglyphix, was growing rapidly at the same time, so he tore himself away from Chengdu and returned to Suzhou.

When Liu Xiao asked his old friend Victor to join the band, he agreed without any hesitation, and from that fortuitous beginning grew an unorthodox new project.
